Land acquisition, production architectural plans and site survey

We have constructed a 11-classroom blocks, (10 toilets/sinks), admin block (head/deputy/secretary
offices, staffroom and toilets) and school hall

We have also constructed of a second school block containing, three classrooms, computer room and
temporal library.

There is a school hall and a canteen where pupils eat their lunch

There is safe water supply and electrical installations

The school was officially opened on the 8th September, 2008 with and initial enrolment of
80 pupils. By the end of the second week of September 2008, this number had exponentially increased to 200 pupils

The present pupil enrolment stands at eighty (480) pupils, and an expected number of six hundred
pupils by the middle of next academic year.

The academy constitutes a primary school (Classes 1-6), a junior secondary school (JSS 1-3) and a
senior secondary school (SS 1)

The school has 22 trained and qualified teaching staff members and 13 non-academic supporting
staff

The school has successfully gone through the first year and have recently opened for
the second academic year

On the
invitation of the Ministry of Education the school participated in a symposium with the theme, “Girl-child Education for National Development”. The symposium was moderated by the principal of
the academy.
